* We don't churn out weddings - we only take on a wedding a day and not more than two on a weekend;

The Location
'Nde Bushe is situated on the beautiful Maritime Bushveld Estate where 66 acres of indigenous woodland are carefully maintained. Views of the distant Magaliesburg hills extend as far as the eye can see and provide the opportunity of bringing a fantastic sunset or the feeling of wide African space into your event. The estate is home to several herds of Springbok and Blesbok that have roamed free for many years. They are always present and together with the openness and stunning sunsets contribute towards a wonderful and unique feel. Surprising to most is the fact that we are situated only a few kilometers from Fourways, just 2 kilometers after the Broadacres center. We neighbor Dainfern and offer a relaxed and welcome relief from hectic day to day urban life.
The People
Experience, experience, experience!
'Nde Bushe is run by a team with many years of experience in hosting weddings and a variety of other functions. We do not hire in additional contract staff for functions which means that there are no people involved in your event with dubious levels of competence. This means that we are able to provide the high level of service that has become part of our reputation. Our front of house staff are trained to offer efficient yet unobtrusive warm service to go with the mouthwatering cuisine created by the experienced team in the kitchen.
The Food
Our suggested menu options are comprehensive and flexible in an effort to provide your guests with the highest quality and enjoyment while maintaining a smooth flow in the kitchen. If you have any personal preferences or themes we are happy to discuss these with you.
Our pricing is per guest and there is no venue fee.
Included in the cost per guest :
* Full use of the venue - provided a minimum of 65 guests;
* Tables set with standard place setting, clean oil burning candles and standard day-to-day restaurant flowers;
* White chair covers;
* White linen table cloths, standard place settings with white linen serviettes;
* Draping of garden gazebo with white organza if required;
* Background music (can not be used for dancing);
* Manager on duty, fully licensed bar and kitchen service.
Not included in the cost per guest:
* Welcome drinks;
* Bar account;
* Décor such as specially designed table flower arrangements, table décor, special candles (use of wax must be discussed) and other décor;
* Music or related entertainment;
* Printed seating plans, list boards and table menus;
* Service fee for front of house staff (10% will be added to the final food and drinks bill).
The Liquor and Beverage
We have a full license and do not allow people to bring their own. Arrangements will be made to suit your preferences and budget. The total bar bill is to be settled on the day of the function.
The Time
Most people want to marry at 'Nde Bushe in the late afternoon to take advantage of the beautiful sunsets over the distant Magaliesburg. A late morning or lunchtime wedding can also be superb. We try to be as flexible and negotiable as possible in this regard. 'Nde Bushe is a very popular function venue with many year end functions booked ten months in advance. Package price includes use of the venue until midnight or until 16h30 for lunchtime weddings.
The Number of Guests
For exclusive use of the venue a minimum of 65 guests will be charged for. We specialize in smaller weddings of up to 120 guests. Seating will be arranged around dance floor requirements, smoking and non smoking tables etc. Final numbers are required 7 days prior to the date of the function and that will be the minimum number of guests charged for.
The Photos, Flowers, Cake and Décor
We have relationships with recommended specialists who we know will be able to assist with specialized services. We can manage as many of these suppliers as you require. We are also happy to provide you with the names and contact numbers, however at the end of the day the use of specialized services is at your discretion.
The Music
The importance of music at any function cannot be understated. There are many options to choose from and we are in a position to be able to make recommendations. Once again we are happy to provide names and contact numbers, however you are not obliged to use them. To be considerate towards the wildlife, discos and bands are housed conveniently within the main dining area. String quartets on the sunset deck with cocktails are ideal.
The Chapel
We do not have a chapel however we do have other options. Our large sunset deck has a gazebo positioned on it which can be draped for the occasion. Alternatively we can arrange for a gazebo to be erected anywhere on the estate. We also have a large boma and most of our veranda can be enclosed in the event of inclement weather. Many couples have simply tied the knot under one of the beautiful trees on the lawn around the main building. Whether under a tree or under the gazebo a sunset wedding at 'Nde Bushe can be simply stunning.
The Accommodation
On a neighboring estate (within safe easy walking distance) there is Das Landhaus B&B with 22 rondawels. They offer us a good rate. Das Landhaus does have a honeymoon suite as does the Palazzo Intercontinental Hotel at Monte Casino and the Indaba Hotel - both situated only a few kilometers away.
The Deposit and Final Payment
A deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is calculated at 50% of the (menu) cost per guest X the number of guests booked. A R1000.00 deposit for breakages and damage is also required. This is payable together with the deposit to secure the booking and is refunded after the function by bank transfer should there be no breakages or damage.
Deposits can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Final payment is required on the day of the function.
Conclusion
Our secret to success lies in what we have to offer and the way in which we handle weddings. We do have parameters within which we need to work - but try to work around these. We appreciate the need to tailor your wedding to suit your specific requirements. We have tons of experience with weddings and are more than willing to share this to make sure the day is a special one for both you and your guests. We simply have been around the block a number of times and would really like to help you with a winner of a day. Our pricing has been kept as simple and transparent as possible. The meal suggestions will give you a good feel for what we can offer. We are open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and Tuesday to Saturday for dinner.
